The Cypriot Community Association of Queensland was founded in the early 1950s with the vision of uniting the Cypriot people who had emigrated from Cyprus to Brisbane, Australia.
The Community helped countless Cypriot immigrants settle into their new surroundings in Australia, whilst also providing a means to maintain our Cypriot cultural traditions in food, music, dance and language.
Over time, the Cypriot community here in Queensland has been able to celebrate our beautiful culture with the broader community through our participation in various multicultural festivals and events throughout Queensland, including the Paniyiri Festival and the Cyprus Halloumi Festival.
We look forward to sharing our rich Cypriot culture with many more generations to come!
